Stereo Reverb jibbajabbuh

Post by ryan summit »

recently bought a new bass head
lack of verb on that
and my guitar amps wonky electronics
have left my tone in a tiny room
id like one box with stereo ins and outs
if i could control both channels independantly
thats a bonus
but not mandatory
not gonna put a price cap
but the more expensive it is the longer the wait
lets just say id love an eventide space
but ill never get around to treatin myself to it

thoughts:
stereo wet
hardwire rv7 or supernatural
(insert your fave here)

others?pros?cons?thanks!

Both stereo, both would work... Your lookin a more $$$ if you want separate controls over each side...

I like my supernatural a lot: it's got great plate and spring modes, as well as some weird stuff for when you feel like getting your noise/drone on.

+1 Cathedral.
Liked it a lot more than the RV7, and you can tweak it into some weird shit.

Plus, INFIIINIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

RV-7 works great for me. Never tried the stereo setup, but it'd probably be fine.

What type of reverb you looking for, Matt?
The RV-7 excels at spring, plate, and reverse IMO. The other settings are pretty average though. Not that average is bad.

I love my Cathedral.

However I kind of wish I bought the Hall of Fame for it's compact size and (I'm assuming) 9v operation....

+1 for Cathedral

It is the reverb that I'll never sell, ok, I'd sold it once, but I bought again. Ok, I'd been selling this another one, but I stopped the trading just in time...
Infinite, feedback\self-oscillation (I'd discovered this cool feature after I purchased the spring chicken), wall of delay\reverb, weird noises and lush and ambient reverb, It can do standard reverberation too.

Another cool stereo reverb is the RV5, I want to try the Red Panda Context.

Ah!

Source Audio Dimension Reverb, one of the best modulated I ever eard, but the other algorithms sounds very very similar.

The Supernatural is really good if you want something straightforward but versatile. I particularly like the spring setting.
