I just bought :

I haven't tried either, but I watched clips. I think I prefer the darker sound of the regular version. That is why I picked it. Plus, the deal on the regular version really cinched it.

Yeah, I prefer the chrome one for its ability to be 100% wet instead of mix like the black one or many other reverb pedals, so I could really crank it and send my guitar tones deep into the abyss But no matter what, don't get the Deluxe Plus!! it's a shitty shit pedal! Volume drop and turdy reverb.

Anyway, I was edging between the empress trem, the newer supa-trem 2 and the minifooger.. I went with the fooger cos it has that weird & different kind of wave sounds, and the cheapest. Let us know how it goes when you got the empress

Yes the Minifooger Trem sounds beautiful. I would like to get that someday as well. But I already have all the Moogerfoogers and wanted to branch out to other areas. Plus, my main goal here was to buy something to sync with that JHS Panther Cub delay as that can drive the tempo of other pedals. So, the Empress should work nicely with that. I also want to see what kind of stupidness I can achieve syncing my Moog 104M delay to those two items.

I bought my wife her Christmas present yesterday and I was hoping to have enough left over for a new pedal. But my whole budget got eaten up.
She's gonna be happy though, and that's a good long term investment for me.

You're not the only one resisting temptation dude! I haven't bought anything for myself either, and it's hard with some of these deals. I figure I'll probably get some cash from my folks for Christmas, so maybe I'll treat myself to something cool then.
