Every time I play through one of mine I'm amazed that this box doesn't get much (any?) love. Clean to filth, stacks well, running an EF86 at real voltage, cheap bordering on dirt cheap. Lots of gain, no real low end roll off depending on settings.

Always +1 on a Tone Machine.Uncle Grandfather wrote:foxx tonemachine, super thick and meaty, doesn't clean up like a fuzz face, has an octave switch.
Also, maybe consider a Death By Audio Kill Kill Filter.
Might be too scooped for your tastes but it will make any dirt pedal sound fucking insane.

The Maestro Parametric Filter/OD also works wonders on any pedal, but fuzz indeed.
