This thing looks cool. What is it similar to? Fuzz Face? Fuzzrite?

from what i read the circuit is based on early germ mosrite fuzzrite. it doesn't sound like my mosrite silicon. but i haven't a/b'd them. i'm really diggin it, it has a thick evil lowend on one side of the dial and a raspy spitty gated to a sizzle on the other, and its very responsive to the volume and tone controls on the guitar i was playing, 69 mustang.

Very interesting. It looks like a its set up the same way as a Germ Fuzzrite, but it's using 2n3391's which are sili.

and i think i read that these came out before the silicone fuzzrites....but i didn't bother to look into the dates etc. but yeah, that's the design its based on, a germ fuzzrite.

Care to post a picture of the solder side of the pcb? I'd like to confirm the circuit.
