Kinda upset I missed this whole V thing; it sounds epic. Lately I've been obsessed with watching anything on BBC America with Gordon Ramsay. Some might say he's a dick, but he's one of my heroes at the moment.

I just watched "V" last night. It's a new series on ABC...anyone catch it? Any thoughts? I thought it had some potential.

No didn’t catch it, got busy and forgot.

They ran the entire original series on SIFI last weekend.
It was a very big deal in the ‘80s

Easy. Twin Peaks.

I know it's not on any more, and is never repeated (at least not here in the UK), but I can put on the DVDs, get myself some hot black coffee, and sit down for an evening of total weirdness. :bob:

Oh yeah, and House is great too, but the bastards have stopped showing it on a TV channel that I receive. :grumpy:

I could watch Jacob Bronowski, Carl Sagan or David Attenborough read the telephone book and it'd still be somehow fascinating.

Arrested Development and Party Down has to be the funniest shows ever made, is anyone familiar?

As for plain awesomeness, Six Feet Under and Twin Peaks pretty much rule.

Currently loving Season 2 of Dollhouse. It helps that the show is quite good, but I will watch anything that has Eliza Dushku in it.

I also watch Never Mind the Buzzcocks, but the current run has been hit and miss with the guest host thing since Simon Amstell left the show.

Not much else I watch that isn't wrestling. That said the only wrestling shows worth watching most weeks are WWE Smackdown and ECW, and Ring of Honor on HDNet if you have it, or watch it on youtube.

Also, being currently out of work, I'm scanning a lot of channels and stumbled across Miami Ink and LA Ink. I do not have any tattoos, nor do I have any desire to get one, yet I am fascinated by those shows.

I will try and find something else to watch tonight, as the main options for saturday nights are Strictly Come Dancing (i.e. the original British version of "Dancing With The Stars") and X-Factor (in which Simon Cowell buys and pays for the christmas #1 single via a "talent" show, last year's gave the world a fuckinf awful cover of "Hallelujah"). I'll probably end up in front of my computer as usual.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

Arrested Development may very well be THE best show ever made on television. They are making a movie ya know. I'm currently considering buying the entire series on DVD so I can relive it all over and over again....the show makes me super HAPPY :animal: I <3 Buster and Gob

I know! It's awesome, I'm super psyched!
I love dr tobias fünke, both a therapist and a analyst. The worlds first analrapist. It's one of those shows you could go on qouting for a lifetime amongst other fans without it getting old.

I certainly hope the movie gets good reviews and becomes a blockbuster. Who knows, maybe they'll bring back the show.

"Here he comes. Here comes john wayne. 'I'm not gonna cry about ma pa'. I'm gonna build an airport, put ma name on it!' Why, michael? So you can fly away from your feelings? You can keep them bottled up, Michael, but they will come out sometimes in the most unexpected... Hey, where the FUCK are my hard boiled eggs!?!?!"

Mostly news...but, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has got to be one of the funniest show ever! I pretty much like all FX shows, but don't watch them regularly. I'm one of those weird people that can go days without turning a tv on.

PS.

I do watch a lot of Spongebob with my 4yo daughter.
