EHX 8-step - anybody using one?
Anybody actually using an EHX 8 Step Sequencer on their board?
I'm thinking about building an expression only board with a few expression pedals and noticed the EHX has an exp in, so I'm thinking I could use one of the exp pedals into that and then run that into an expressionator on my main board to maximize normal plus 8-step use?

really want to put one of these onto delay time control for midi clocked cloudbuster effect. this has left me with the question, what's the best delay with expression pedal input?
but what are guitar pedals...really..?

I have one. I use it with my hog sometimes for wacky sounds like arpeggios and timed portamento and even violent vibrato every now and again. its not that expensive and its a really neat tool. I dont use it nearly as much as I probably should though.

I'm having a hard time understanding what this pedal really does..
Does it mean you can only hook up ONE pedal to the 8 step by using the expression pedal input of the pedal ? How is it possible to hook up several pedals to the 8step...?
Sorry if my question is dumb

I've definitely been dreaming as an 8Step Program as an alternative to ponying up for a Moog Murf. Also, hooking it up to my old analog synth for a basic arpeggiator or a Boss PS6 for an everything arpeggiator would be

Just think about 8 step as an expression pedal. It can control only one effect pedal and you'll need something like Expressionator to hook it up to three pedals.jb2106 wrote:I'm having a hard time understanding what this pedal really does..
