No idea if it would be in your price range BUT the re-boot of the Nelson Attache has been given, in addition to the german carve, a GENEROUS recurve that any mosrite would envy! Plus it is made by me here in amer'ca

That looks pretty sweet, Bobby. Nice work.

Thanks for the responses guys, those Hallmarks look great.

Found out the guitarist from Astro-Man uses one too, I thought he had a legit Mosrite albeit with a circuit board for a pickguard :D

I'll probably see about making my own though, just ain't no love for surf guitars in England because they can't be found anywhere :(

Also anyone know which model Mosrite this is? (if you skip to 2:50 there's a close up). Love the look of the body shape and are those P90s because they don't have pole pieces like other Mosrite pickups.

Ha ha. Love Ricky Wilson. Great guitarist.

No idea what model that is or what those pickups are. Is it possible he just taped 'em up with black tape?

Found that Ricky Wilson model:

Looks like "Moserite" is embossed on the pickup covers. So, they seem stock.

I've never played a Mosrite but I was under the impression that they've got exceptionally skinny necks. Is that true? Do the Hallmarks have that, too?

Just when I thought I was happy with the guitars I had I made the mistake of opening this thread. How do the new Mosrites compare with the vintage?

I wonder how much it sold for, probably crazy money

The body looks close to what Cobain used but his was a one off/prototype model IIRC.
