Holding out on making my list until the new Sandrider and Black Skies albums drop (tomorrow!), since I'm pretty sure they'll be rounding out my top 10.

So yes, your lists are SUPER FUCKING IMPORTANT. My ears need to be massaged with crispy delicious newness.
Yeah!!

I've already added a buncha other crap to my list of contenders... the Mitochondrion 7", Vomir/Concrete Threat LP, the Bastard Noise/Brutal Truth LP/CD, Edwige LP, Demonomancy LP (not top 10 material, but great), maaaaaybe the Sacriphyx LP? The Wolf Eyes was pretty good too but not earthshatteringly noteworthy......

I thought that new Earthless was so fucking dull.... I was super pumped for it and totally let down....

I think it depends on what you were expecting to get out of it. Earthless is kind of like the Psych-Jam AC/DC or Motorhead.
good deals are here.

I'd probably love it, then.

You mean they release the same record over and over and over and over again?

Yes, I will agree with you there....

Right, and I love Earthless, and they do "their thing" better than almost anyone else, but I'm not really expecting experimentation from their albums.

TBQH I guess the first album is the only thing I really need from them, once in a while. They're a cool band but it's hard to get excited about the same old thing even if they do it well.... I mean I don't buy AC/DC or Motorhead records anymore either.....

Well it's begun.... I started making an actual list and once I went through my LPs, tape box (I swear I'm missing something in there :?: ), my discogs collection, and my list I was keeping on my phone I was left with this...... what a wasteful morning......

Red Fang - Whales & Leeches
Lord Dying - Summon the Faithless
Windhand - Soma
Sasquatch - IV
Whores. - Clean
Ocean Chief - Sten
Earthless - From the Ages
Fuzz - S/T
Vidunder - S/T
Gozu - Fury of a Patient Man

That said, I still haven't listened to the new Big Business or Sandrider. I'm sure they'll knock off a couple of the above.
