Orange Micro Terror brings teh Doom live

Post by Krosis »

So a friend of my had a show local to me on Friday night. He messages me Friday afternoon asking if I had an amp head he could borrow since his just broke on him. I told him all I have is an Orange Micro Terror and he said it will have to do. The Micro Terror gets plugged into a Tech 21 4x12 and...it sounded great! Naturally, the amp was mic'd but my friend didn't even have to use pedals for it to sound great. No one could believe how good it sounded. He plays a sort of mix between doom and punk. Here's a bad quality pic and video clip, but you guys get the idea:

Yeah, it's a hybrid. I love mine, but most of the time I use a Bad Monkey to push it even more. That's when it gets really fun.

Yeah, the visuals are kinda amusing. I was worried showing up to a gig with that little amp that some wise-ass would make some sort of joke about the size. However, after hearing it in action I think most people would be convinced just as I was.
