Fuzz suggestions since SOMMS is out of stock.

Post by Dronefacemcgee »

Woah first post! :!!!: Hey guys, I was planning on ordered the Pitch Grinder and SOMMS from Dwarfcraft, but I can only find the Pitch Grinder in stock.

I would enjoy some suggestions for a crazy oscillating noise making fuzz that responses somewhat well to the notes I play on guitar, or not that's okay too. The max I'm willing to spend is about 250. If you can two pedals that meet those requirements with different sounds in the 100 dollar range then lemme know as well!

Thanks guys.

The Ab-synth I'm eyeing, I'll check out the Shitari. Thanks!

I second an ab synth. Do a special order with some extra control. Tom mentioned ordering within the next couple days to get in time for Christmas.

They used to, they just ran out of stock. Or that's what the store tells me sometimes.

I'm thinking the great destroyer could be tons of fun into the pitchgrinder.

TGD and AB-Synth, both are very responsive to Your geet knob tweaking AND Your playing dynamics, and both does a variety of crazy sounds. :thumb:

But they are both way different from SOMMS since the latter is basically a rude squarewave synth with a clean blend for Your instrument signal. So if You want that droning noise wall of oscillation in the background... I might also suggest a noise pedal synth like Drafcraft Rot Yr Brain (been thus far my favorite noise synth for years in use) and a mini mixer or A+B/Y box to add Your instrument over/under that.

Yeah, I wanted the whole noise making generating thing, but since it's out of stock (i guess still unsure) I wanted to find something as close as possible to generating walls of noise. I'll probably go with the TGD and maybe find something else I can get. WIsh I could get both the TGD and AB-synth, but that puts me out of budget.
