I'm loving these suggestions! A ss/bs mini is now on my list.

Also a great idea.
I have a F*ck and it's essentially always on on my board.
SS/BS also does some custom stuff. They posted a picture of a custom dual F*ck today and mentioned that they've done dual Mini/F*cks in the past, which I think would just be amazing!

Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian and/or Sandford and Sonny Bluebeard. (moderate to high gain, mid-low frequency muffled fuzz).

Also, I too vote for a Fairfield Circuitry Unpleasant Surprise (high gain high frequency fuzz).

EQD Monarch too! Stacks well with like, everything.

zvex j mascis double rock.

its two Box of Rock in one case. for each channel you can adjust sub frequencies, and you can convert either channel to a Super Hard-On. In this way you can configure the pedal to be two Distortions cascaded, two Super Hard-On's cascaded(like a Super Duper 2 in 1), or a Box of Rock with boost, or a Super Hard-On going into a Box of Rock.

versatile.

it is. hopefully they will issue one in their plain jane box series so more people might be willing to pick one up.
i'm glad I did :thumb:

its a cool sparkley purple with a little painted j mascis jammin between the two stomp's. the color matches my j mascis jap sig jazzmaster and i'm a geek :yay:

Zvex Double Rock does look and sound super awesome. A Vexter version would be great.
Agree with futuresailors on the Rat. EVERY board needs a Rat. And the Muffs you've picked out (Musket and Big Green Pi) would both be solid choices. In the end though, fuzz is such an individual thing and you need to go with what sounds right to you. My problem is that every fuzz box ever made sounds right to me at different times of the day

Ain't life grand

about the rat, you should check out the systech od. from early mid 70s. systech folded shortly afterwards, and one of the primaries started proco rat. the rat sounds very similar to the systech, the eq/filter on the two are a little different. i love my rat, but the systech can get most rat tones along with cocked wah tones with its filter boost. i wonder if the rat was the next evolution of systech's od pedal.

Zvex haha. The box of rock is just two sho's into each other. The box of metal is four.

He gets a lot of mileage from that circuit.

Some ilf builders need to wisen up to this business. Imagine four Ab-Synths in a box.

Nah dude. Too risky. That much fuzz could likely cause amplifiers and people to explode.
