I think people start gear myths to make people buy shit you don't need. Not that you're doing that, but I seriously doubt this should be a concern. But you should do whatever makes you comfortable. I agree with the fact that I think it's a bad idea to put anything on the ground that wouldn't do well if it was stepped on or kicked, and depending on your band, that could mean your head is gonna get fucked by all the commotion

So you don't spend much time in a studio? also isolating the head from vibrations....which I've described how I do so...and obvious mishaps is another factor to consider.

I spend no time in a studio so I can't speak for that on personal experience. I'm also not one to worry about stuff like this ala theavodon's great post earlier on

I have two cabs. My Fender tube amp head with rubber feet is atop one of the cabs. There is zero audible difference between playing out of one head or the other.

Maaaaan i should really start learning about this stuff.

I've never changed the toobs in my amp and it gets knocked around a fair bit seeing as I don't have a case

I'll start worrying when it isn't loud anymore.
