What to get for Christmas!

Post by Roseweave »

I want to get something cool for Christmas. I was thinking maybe of getting a Bit Mangler if I see one cheap or trying to find an old Pagoda style Never Drive. But maybe I could get an M9 or an Electric Mistress or something like that. Any ideas?

Electric Mistress gets my vote.I really hate asking for guitar stuff for Chritmas because NAMM is just a month later and you never know what awesome stuff is going to be released.I personally am going to ask for a DD-7 and Electric Mistress.

I just finished talking to my beautiful daughter about this very thing.
She says she doesn’t know much about stomp boxes so I said just call one of the ILF builders. Her reply was I’ll say “I’m metal mariachi’s daughter and want the most awesomest pedal in the world”.

That works for me.

got no ideas for you though.

i need some decent Flange so an even an XO Electric Mistress would be good for me personally but for you i am recommending a Line 6 M9 for Christmas.

I just sold the Stereo Electric Mistress to be honest. I found it quite unmusical, some cool sounds though. Not good for traditional flanger sounds, and since it's not very musical it's not a great alternative to it either. Not sure what it's for. Sounds good with cleans though.

M9 could probably do a good electric mistress sound and a lot more so it seems like you would be really happy with it.

Doesn't model a mistress though.

My gear wish list is insatiable but at the top is an EHX Flanger Hoax or EHX Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai. I also want either a Vox Night Train or an Orange Tiny Terror but that will have to wait!

i dont know if i want a six string acoustic (seagull), agile gold top les paul with p90s, or the olympic white 50s classic vibe strat with gold flakey pick guard....

roseweave, i think you should pull the trigger on a custom dual devi painted by ben!!!!! :yay:

Tried out a Deluxe Electric Mistress today. Loved it to bits.
