I meant to go completely modular but I couldn't pass it up, I got a decent deal on it. When looking at it I determines that it was basically 12-14 modules plus duo phonic ribbon controller, plus some real unique features (analog additive synthesis on ones oscillator). I will just build the rest of my modular around it. I think the next things I am going to get are a Maths and I might have a trade going for a QMMG.

It looks like the periodic table of elements if the periodic table was fun.

Damn. I hadn't heard of the Polygamist until you posted about it a few days ago, now I really fucking want one too. Sounds awesome and looks like tons of fun.

Yeah, I am super excited, the Polygamist will be here next week. 12XU, I will definitely at least get some iPhone vids up next weekend. One thing I do know is that there a couple of minor tweaks between this batch and the next batch coming out. If I want, I could get this one updated if I send it in to him, we'll see.

Currently trying to decide between a Wavestation SR or TR Rack (Trinity), for evolving ambient/motion/soundscape stuff, which both units do amazingly well. I have a Fantom XR, which has plenty of cosmic powers already, I just want something to stack with it.

Synthmania is an absolute godsend, but it's not making things any easier:

Getting back on the Tempest train…AgainAgain.

I love it but I always feel too poor to keep it. Now I no give no fucks, I just have to survive until May (graduate). Plus I am working now too. NICE.

Did Pym get all of the bugs worked out? Tempest is amazing, but all of the little quirks the firmware had were frustrating as hell.

I am going to say Pym mostly has. There are still more updates in the works. He making a mode that has free running LFO available. The Tempest is going to have a quirk or 2 regardless but way less than before. There are more positives now for sure.

I hope so, its such a deep/powerful bit of kit that's surprisingly easy to use for what you can do with it.

Just scored an E-Mu Planet Earth on ebay. They don't come up (at a fair price) too often, so the Korg stuff will have to wait. There are almost no clips to be found, but this thing is a drum/percussion/rhythm/loop monster, according to the specs and reviews. Been wanting to try it for ages.
