Theremins - Recommendations
Hi folks, I'm looking for recommendations for a theremin. I want one with both a volume and a pitch control. Are there any other decent options out there besides the $400 Moog?
Thanks.

i use to have a chuck collins theremaniacs theremin. you used the antenna and a pitch knob to control the sound, no volume control though. a great little theremin for about $120. you could always use a volume pedal

I really like the Hiwatt echo-theremin I think it's called. It has some built-in delay with knobs to control time and level, and it also has volume and frequency controls.

I already have this one. I want something with more control. The light sensor is great but I want a control for the volume and the pitch!

If I'm not mistaken, you could probably build one for about $40, if not cheaper. I remember wanting to build one a few years ago, but it was more of a phase I went through, and I didn't really extensively research it.

Right on. I think I'd rather buy one. I'm not much of a DIY'er!
