Spring King. Good luck finding one that works and/or isn't being price jacked though
Aren't they only like $150 new and half that used?
And PP's got a demo!
The Spring King was a very interesting pedal. It has a spring in it attached to the kickpad which supplements half of the reverb sound, and it is mixed with an extremely short digital delay with some repeats. So you get this cheap analog spring mixed with a digital delay tuned to psuedo reverb, and you can control the mix of the two with the knobs. Sounds fucking killer pre-fuzz.
Yeah I enjoy mine a lot, I didn't realize they were fetching those kinds of prices, I think I bought mine for like $70. Mine passes a very quiet effected spring signal when bypassed, though. I really gotta do a back-to-back recording of it and the FRV-1.
There was a dude on The Web who modified his so that you could control the digital delay. I always wanted him to mod mine in this way but I never heard from him when I asked.

Get some good gut shots posted. If it's not entirely smd someone can likely figure it out pretty easily.

well now I know what I'm doing with my Friday night.
the sub decay spring theory is really awesome. the room mode sounds killer and the spring mode does too, if that's your thing. infinite decay too. really cool pedal.

I'm using a long Belton brick reverb Schlatte designed upon my wild requests... Think about it as a Rub-a-Dub with 6 extra controls and deeper reverb sound
due to EQ and gain, it can get very trashy and dirty (it can actually slightly overdrive). Able to oscillate as well... the only thing it misses to my ears is the spring attack noise. It's not a spring reverb, but sure sounds close to me
obviously not the most versatile sound ever, but i just can't ditch it for an RRR even though i'm absolutely sure that'd be more "my sound"... there's just something with the character that is extremely addictive
