I've been diggin on similar kinds of affordable vintage guitars, but I've never just gone ahead and bought one for one reason or another- I'm especially hesitant about getting a guitar without holding it first; it's gotta feel right.

I'm used to playing a MIM Tele, but I've always figured these were super light comparatively speaking. And I've never actually heard a lot of them, and only talked to a few people that are kinda into them.

What is the neck like on that one?

I like old guitars with baseball bat necks. The thicker the better.

The neck is pretty thick, a bit thicker than a Tele! It's about the same size as the Jagmaster which I like, but has 23 frets! :o

Well I better start writing, I may add some more later.
First off, it's in extremely good condition, the seller told me it was missing the nut so I was like "Crap I'll have to replace it now..." but it turned out to be missing an acorn nut, as in nuts and bolts.PP informed me that these pickups sound a lot like pre-sappy Nirvana, which they do. However, add a touch of gain and a lot of reverb and you have instant Jack White "clean" tones! Fingerpicking provides a rather odd banjo-esque attack but I'm cool with that jazz. Add a fuzz, and you're in feedback city, whether that's good or bad you decide. It didn't really sound like the demos I listened to before but those demos weren't so good. :p
The neck is very thick as mentioned before and I believe is the same as the Jack White Airline. The action on it was iffy for a while, but it's better now as it was sent from Texas and probably just adjusting to the climate around here. The shorter scale is nice for slide even though I prefer full scale necks.
The electronics have a bit of static, so I'll clean them up and possibly replace a couple parts. It's pickup selector is just a mute switch for each pickup, so you are able to get those crazy killswitch sounds you morello-freaks love.

I've only had it for a few days so that's all I'm able to conclude right now. It was definetly worth the price, worth 4 or 5 times more IMO. I'd reccommend you guys look for these obscure old brands, you can get lots of them for less than $100 in mint condition.
