2013 has been a dismal year for black metal... that Cultes des Ghoules LP was pretty great though....

there's no way i could do this, although i love black metal. i play in a black metal band, but i couldn't possibly listen to only one style of anything for a month at this point in my life.

and speaking of killer fucking black metal albums from 2013, the new ruins of beverast is insanely good, as are all his albums. this one's way more doom than previous efforts, but i think anything he does qualifies as black metal. i've posted it some before, but may as well do it again.

I already get complaints for how much black metal I put in playlists. any more would just be pushing it.

Rorcal's release was great. Had Doomy parts, but I'd rather that than more blackgaze.

I'm pretty sure Christian "blackmetal" should be called white metal or maybe beige metal, or maybe sheep metal... yeah sheep metal! metal to molest farm animals and quire boys to :omg:
