strange backround noise, cant find IITT

So Im getting this odd noise in my signal. It gets worse the harder I pick/play. its like a staticy fuzz almost type sound. Noise suppressors make it go away but as soon as I play you can hear it UNDER the normal guitar tone. ITs not there when I plug straight in so I think its a pedal or maybe power interference or something.
kins of s splattersh shh shhhhhh type noise. I hear it the most clear when im on the clean channel with the volume loud without the distorion covering it up. really ruins the clean tone.

I use 3 pp2 pluses daisychained together from their courtesy outs. could this be the issue?

Any tips on tracking these things down?

If I were to guess, I would think this is a power supply issue. For years I was a big Electro-Harmonix player and used proprietary power supplies, so this was never a problem for me. But as I've gotten more into boutique stuff I've learned that finding a good power supply for your boutique pedal can be tough. And what works great on most of your boutique pedals might not work on another boutique pedal. I've had great success with GODLYKE Power-Alls, that being said they aren't completely universal. Same goes with VisualSound One Spots (both digitally controlled).

The bottom line is it is important to research and/or experiment to find a great power supply for your pedal(s). Bad power can cause all kinds of noise or artifact in.

Do some troubleshooting and start taking pedals out of your chain to find out which pedal is causing the problem, and then try using a different power supply with it.

Also, with those bulk power supplies you have to be careful. Some of them throw around words like "isolated," but often share grounds which can cause problems in some setups.

Is the noise just when you play a particular guitar or all the time? If its just for one guitar, it could be a ground issue or something of the like. One of my project guitars sometimes does things like you describe for this reason

Hmmm, im not sure ill have to do a comparrison test. BUt I cant for a week or two because im moving and my life is in shambles and boxes haha
