Dry erase marker over the sharpie will remove that, I think?

Goo Be Gone works great for sharpie removal too. Gentle as well, basically a combo of orange and lemon oils.

...and up to 95% Distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated light.

If you don't want the citrus oil residue, just get some Zippo fluid.

rubbing alcohol is best. wont affect any paint job. Hand sanitizer works as it contains rubbing alcohol.
