Christ this pedal is loud. I didn't have my B:assmaster around at Beck rehearsal the other day to compare, but the little Diabolik was pretty upsetting...nearly ruined my '70 SVT head. But the head was actually fine...that is, until the saltwater at Treasure Island broke it during the gig. Anyway, yeah this little beast is really, really loud. Sorry in advance to whomever.

All this said, I find myself very behind the times in terms of all kinds of shit that's cool that's come out in the past two years. I've been spending all my time/money on microphones, outboard and synths, and need to understand what's really great out there pedal-wise now. So, I'm going to study up and do some research in this fun place. Ok bye - off to Vegas. We're playing that weird new festival in old downtown...."Life Is Beautiful". Thanks for the kind hospitality.

WELL, actually, this incredible volume is a good thing. A very, very good thing. Thank you.

Look I totally respect if some of you guys think my pedal is stupid. Just wanted to speak up on it for a sec and suggest you to try it out beyond weak video world, cuz it's actually pretty good. Enough said.

nobody here thinks your pedal is 'stupid', obviously how it sounds is a subjective thing and even though myself and some others weren't particularly wowed by the pedal based on the demo provided the most important thing is that it works for you!
the best thing about this place is that people are honest about what they do and don't like and won't attack other people for having a different opinion, so you should totally stay!

that starcaster bass is fucking sexy by the way.

Exactly. I'm sorry if you interpreted my post as "this pedal is stupid" because I don't think that of any pedal (TGP hyped stuff aside). If you're excited, then I'm excited for you. If I come across one in a shop I would be more than happy to try it out. It just doesn't seem to fit my specific tastes, and that's okay. We can be open about things on ILF, and if we don't like something we'll explain why. But for the most part, I think we still appreciate that such a pedal exists and will fit the needs of someone who's looking for it, and appreciate the time and effort that went into making it.

Also, I'll make it known that I'm super fond of germanium based fuzzes. So if you wanted to, say, make a germ version and call it the WinThatGuyOverFromILF-bolik, I am pledging right now to buy one without even hearing a demo.

Glad you dig the atmosphere! It's my favorite non-existent place on the interwebs, and my pedal collection has grown at a ridiculous rate since joining (interestingly, my disposable income has plummeted in that same timeframe... hmmmm...).

Have fun at that festival - I've seen ads for it, looks like quite an interesting time.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

This thread wins on all accounts.

I actually liked the first setting, surprised the first few posts were from people that didn't. The second one not so much, but i could imagine uses for that one too.
