Where you at these days? I'm in talks with John about having the IF lads over for prefunking rituals. You are of course invited as well!

Yo D- I'm still rocking the Brempire, aka the wasteland. Let me know what you guys brew up- totally down with hooking up pre show with you and those motherFluxers

Tell me about the Bremelo situation these days. My last update was from Mix back in '88

And yeah, I'll let you know what goes on!

It was a limited release from last spring- wasn't really a malt liquor, just a rebranded pilsner from Silver City for some promo shit. My old lady (true Bremelo) got me the t-shirt too.

we're getting paid, not a lot, but it's a sure number. let's just say there's some politics going on with this one and we agreed to take one for the team ahead of time. plus, we've only played seattle once two years ago, so we can't expect or ask for much. can't wait to see you and meet the dudes that i haven't met in real life.

man I'm gonna have to go back and read up on everything. I just want to thank Whisk for introducing me to the existence of Sensurround and the cerwin-vega 18. And everyone else who kept an eye out and helped track one down.
Tonight I got it in the ACC cab and gave it a whirl. fuck yeah. fuck YEAH!

So good, add to that tony hooked up one of the new revelation superbasses and that with the Wizard Fuzz. Fucking stellar Bass tone. been a good few days for the band. the show last friday still has me feeling high as fuck and tonight's practice had such a great sound going on. Now we need to figure out what to bring to the next show. We can't fit everything in the van. Such a terrible problem to have i know.

Guys....

GUYS!

Go track down those speakers! Smooth creamy tone with MASSIVE low end. I used the soundtronics 200 watt thingy with it tonight, but might end up powering it with the 1200s once the simms Watts is back. will have to experiment.
man, I can't imagine how good that thing must be with that giant fucking huge folded horn whisk has.

NECRO PANTS!

Good to see D back in here. stop being all sick bro! next time we get together I am bringing you my sickness killing elixir which works and will get you wasted all at once. you will love/hate it.
Magic was indeed uber cool, a bit jealous they got to hang for a week. I would have loved to do a lot more brain picking than I got to do in the one evening we hung out.

Angryg, add to beer, trust me this is excellent, better than brownies, choco, whatever. delish.
misterstomach wrote:in case anyone around the northwest doesn't read the post your gigs thread, we're playing three shows with wolvserpent. portland tomorrow night at rotture, seattle on friday at the high line, and vancouver bc on saturday at the astoria. come and hang. say hi. rock out.
so the Taco show is def off? I'll be in seattle friday regardless, the Tac show is still on the tour info.

Mike, ryder and I will be there, DR shots on me!

You won't be having to spend much. These dates fell together in a weird way and we weren't really planning a "tour". Our merch stockpiles are low. Ironically, we have a t-shirt order that will be coming in about a week. We have cd's and a few shirts, but we're kind of unprepared. I am looking forward to this show though. Should be super fun.

And yeah, no Tacoma show. We never confirmed, so it's weird that it's on the tour info. Wolvserpent is probably going to play a great show there, but not with us.

I've seen 2001 a million times but tonight I got to see it on the big screen for the first time...so much more amazing. It's cool see more movie houses bringing back classic older movies.

*sigh* I unfortunately sit at the exact opposite end of the spectrum. Human nature is self preservation first and foremost, its an inherent instinct not a thought pattern, and anyone who tries to convince you other wise 99.9% of the time is lying to you. I WANT to believe people are good natured and honest at heart, but too many life events have proven that atleast in my part of the world, its a fallacy. So I seek those who aim to coexist in this world, knowing that yes protecting themselves and their interests comes first and foremost but without others there to help you and you to help them, you can't get to where you want to be and neither can they.
That sounds AMAZING! I'll have to try that one day. I don't think I'd ever smoke weed again because I have an aversion to smoking, but in other ways, and in moderation, I think it's a great, natural ingredient I'd love to fully experience one day.

I think it's because I've spent so much time by myself and in the company of people like my little sister, I've become fully absorbed in my own mind and in the mind of similarly sweet, beautiful people. And of course I know I'm an honest, caring, selfless person (well, I try my best to be). I've made some mistakes in the past, but I've learned from them and if given the chance would apologise for them and never do them again. In general I can be completely trusted. I'm a good person to everyone. Despite what people think of Jehovah's Witnesses, I support homosexuals, I support veterans who are left homeless upon returning from duty, I support someone's desire to change their sex, I support mistreated animals like Pit Bulls and foxes, I support the consumption of (again, in moderation) alcohol and natural psychotropics and relaxants, I love my neighbour as myself, I don't go around littering, cheating on my girlfriends, pissing in the street after getting drunk, fighting with bouncers, being a grass, all that jazz. I'm a good person, and because this is my life and my existence, my consciousness, it's hard to see it any other way.

Lots of pages that I missed while at work yesterday.

Darren, I'm glad your tour was awesome and you sold out your vinyl. I think I saw on facebook where you had some really cool colored vinyl. Any chance of that on a repress?

Amen Ra videos..... FUCK YEAH. I first saw them while looking up random crap on youtube and I clicked on a link for "The Pain It Is Shapeless" because the thumbnail had a really creepy black and white image on it. Watched the video and was stunned, by the video itself and the music.

Got the mastered tracks back from Mammoth Sound yesterday for my upcoming split 7". Goddamn it sounds great. Dan Randall does amazing work and was really cool to talk to. As soon as the guys in Repellers approve of their tracks I'll be sending that shiz off to be pressed. Feels great to see the last musical goal I set for myself about to become reality.
