and Had a TM5 Thrashmetal at one point.
The only ones I'm not hot on are the thrash and the fuzz both are just pretty vanilla sounding :idk: I have no interest in tubescreamers so unless I find the TS for like $5-$10 I'm not interested. The CR5 Crunchy Rhythm is I believe just the TS and the MF5 Modern Fusion I'm not sure about.. I want one but those go for too high a price cuz they were from the first run by maxon in metal enclosures.

Purple does enhance tone yeah, I wonder if that is the same circuit that was in the rock'play headphone amp/walkman... that had the nicest chorus...

I use to use mine into a normal cassette deck for ideas :lol: you could do about 4 passes before the hiss came.

I have the comp. It's pretty typical for Ibanez or Boss, a Dynacomp derivative with a little more control and buffered clickless bypass. It's about as good and as bad as a typical mass production Dynacomp-type is. Especially since I got it for $.99 and shipping for an opening bid. You will not do that well for the delays or usually for the TS, but you can often grab the Soundtanks for really cheap if you have time and patience to hunt auctions.

I was just making fun of these earlier today when mr. dubkitty was by.

They were the pedals that just sat there on the shop shelves, no matter where I was around the country.

They had them priced as high as Boss stuff and it just didn't make sense.

I was thinking about getting a TS but I'm leaning towards the OG grey plastic one.

I saw a Black Noise at the Pawnshop but I think they read ILF cause it was expensive... :no:

Are you thinking of the ToneLock 7 series things? Those came at least a decade later than the black pill bugs.
