Hi !
I have just received my volto,
and I have a problem with it !
I have a big "buzz" when I use my fuzz pedal ! (fuzz face and big muff DIY)
I have not "buzz sound" with others pedals (wha, phaser, overdrive...), it's silencious !
I don't have this buzz with my old (and cheap ! ) harley benton power supply.
I don't understand what happen ???
I have tried other cable and patch, and I have always this "buzz".
Did you have receive any feedback with this same problem ?
And what can I do ?
thanks !
Benoit.

Re: problem with the pedaltrain volto
sounds like a grounding issue.

How do you have things connected? Which Benton power supply are you using? Are daisy chaining things now? Were you daisy chaining before?

hi !
I have this power supply> http://www.thomann.de/fr/harley_benton_powerplant.htm
so, with this power supply, I don't use daisy chaining (I have only 4 pedals)
I have tried my fuzz pedal and the volto with a single cable, no daisy chaining, and I have the buzz sound ! (and I have tried with only the fuzz connected to the volto, no other pedal connected)
thanks for the answers !

Same problem here with Volto and a Wattson Classic EFY-6. Only happens with the Volto, not with internal 9v battery or external PSU. The problem occurs even if the only thing plugged into the Volto is the EFY-6. It's not a grounding issue. I have emailed Pedaltrain and Wattson. Both replied, and blamed each other! I have to say I was far more convinced by the Wattson explanation, and given the problems reported by other users on TheGearPage with various other fuzz and OD pedals, I suspect it's a problem with the Volto.

Re: problem with the pedaltrain volto
Certain fuzz circuits don't like daisy chains and will actually exacerbate any line noise that exists. I had this issue when I was running like six pedals on a One-Spot with two Muffs (the total current draw was approximately 200ma, too). I too have read about that issue with Voltos, and am shying away until all the bugs are worked out. Cool idea though.
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

Re: problem with the pedaltrain volto
This has nothing whatsoever to do with daisy chains. It happens when the EFY-6 is the only pedal between guitar and amp and the volto is powering only the EFY-6, with no other pedals connected.
It is a fault with the Volto, as the noise doesn't happen when using an internal 9v battery, nor does it happen with an old BOSS PSA power adapter from 10 years ago.
