so this will be a fuzz blender? Am I following you right? Sounds like it could be useful for more than auditioning.

Basically I want to make some effects that are in parallel. So yes, a blender of sorts but with mixed together with their own volume controls instead of panning with a pot. Ill put these on a bread and throw circuits between them and see how they work with one another. If I find something good, ill box them all up together someday. I made a splitter mixer standalone box to try stuff out, as well, but I have lots of unboxed circuit boards I can just plug into a bread board...

2nd of 3 Maestro Filter Sample & Holds. Got Kosta's to sound pretty fantastic. Real touchy circuit as far as tweaking the trimpots, choosing the right noise transistor, and making sure the jfet pinout are correct. Sample and Hold into fuzz is bliss. Once these two are done, there's 4 more projects to complete. Oh, shit 7. Then no more till da PLL is done!

You know what would be a badass 2 -in-1 pedal? Sample & hold + Gristleizer, with a flip switch to determine which is first in line.

Probably be horrendous to work up. But damn would that be crazy-go-nuts.

Those two would be pretty good in parallel actually. Haven't tested the two new FSHes yet. Will be interesting to see if they are hard to tune, as well. Might be easier since the first was the first.

Heck, just add a fuzz in there somewhere and that could replace a regular person's pedalboard!

Of course, there are no "regular" people here.

Let us know how those Sample/Hold boxes turn out. It would be pretty badass if you locked down that process, since I don't know that many other (if any) peeps building them...

This weekend I gotta finish etching the Blower Boxes for Idiotbox. They are gonna be cool but doing 15 enclosures is too exhausting for me. Too much time.

Tonight I'm going to fiddle with Kosta's circuits. And this week I gotta get those boxed and oldangelmidnight's boxed. Those are a bit more complicated so it will be good to have them done. I've got another week long job in Canada Thanksgiving week so I'm going to try to bang out as much stuff as I can between now and then.

I'm not gonna be able to take anything else outside of this list because I gotta finish my fucked up PLL cause I wanna play it sooooo bad!!!

Tested 2nd filter sample and hold. Really tough circuit to tweak if you're not familiar with the circuit, which I'm not. But this one was easier. Don't care for its sound by itself so much but running it into fuzz is pure fucked up bliss. At bedroom levels its devastating. Really loud, it's gotta be fucked like a mad enslaved robot fighting with your fuzz. I gotta record a clip. Really strange effect. With all the mods it's going to be 7 controls, a toggle, a rotary, and two stomps. A real tweaker's delight.
