I've put it at 9v with a 1000mA power supply and it was one of the most subtle phasers I've ever played on......I then tried it at 12v 300mA and it was a freaking beast. I've had the same results with two different Faye Sings.

Man. This pedal is awesome. I love it so much. I just bought a laptop and audio interface/midi controller and I'm replacing EVERYTHING with it except for my dirt.....and....even above the Timeline, this is the one pedal I'm wondering if that setup will be able to replace. So good.

What is a good 12v adaptor? Any recommandation?

I might get one and use my Powerjack for something else.

Any other recommendation for a single 12v supply?
I already have a PP2+, I dont want to purchase another big supply.

Gotta chime in here with props - Ken fixed my Faye Sing and had it back to me super quick!

It's 100% good as new now!

LOVE IT!

Thought I'd bump this to look for some feedback from Faye Sing owners. Infanem is running an anniversary sale this month (October) with $40 off any order, which makes the Faye Sing even more attractive than it already is. But it also looks like this will be the last batch of the current model and that a new version is just around the corner. Says this on the Infanem Facebook page:

October will also mark the end of production for the current generation Compact Faye Sing. I'm close to running out of PCBs for the circuit and taking this opportunity to give the pedal a redesign in the same way I did for the Second Voice: more control, less current draw, fewer quirks.

That sounds like it might be worth waiting for (and paying extra). Seems like lotsa folk had trouble with their power supplies and the Faye Sing so I was wondering if you guys are still happy with the current model. I'd be running the pedal off a BBE Supa-Charger, which can do 9 volt at 200mA.

I'd wait honestly as the SV revision was a pretty nice set of upgrades imo. I never had too much trouble with my Faye Sing beyond power, just had to cycle on/off a couple times to get it going when initially powering it up but it'd be nice to have that issue eliminated. Having even more control would be cool too, maybe it'll go deeper (sonically speaking) or have a wider freq range like the Faye's Her. Not sure what other "quirks" Ken plans on addressing, mine was quirk-free beyond the power issue.

$40 off is enticing but I think the revision will be worth the wait esp if he manages to keep it confined in the same sized enclosure. :thumb:

i'm on my second chrome Faye Sing now....i've come around 360 degrees, you could say!

This one is running fine, although i thought i remember my other one having a faster top rate. i'm running a NW1 by itself on the FS.

if you are in no hurry, i'd say wait for build 2.0...but if cash is burning holes, you'll still have a bad ass phaser.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Think I'll take your advice and wait for the new version.
Huge props also to Ken at Infanem, who was very helpful when I emailed him about it. Definitely a standup dude, and I'll be grabbing a Faye Sing 2.0 as soon as they're available.

Agreed. I was kinda let down but the Whetstone, too thin sounding with my setup and I barely used any of the extra features. Honestly preferred my big box Small Stone to the Whetstone, sounded way fatter.
