Infinity is running at 18V and doesn't have enough headroom? Damn...

It's not that, it was that after I'd get a loop running on each channel there would be a dip in volume no matter what level I set it when I overdubbed which would in turn just make the loops sound a lot quieter than they should have been. Like they didn't sit well?

Ok. I get it. I have a similar problem with the keymaster. Setting the loops equally parallel results in significant drop in overall volume. Maybe they use something similar there? Maybe this is a general technical/design issue? Does the Infinity have level regulation for the loops?

Is there a looper thread anywhere on ILF?

And yeah, I think once it goes from series to parallel they sum the output of the two loops to the outputs which is kind of shitty, why not just leave them the level they were? I fooled around with the level controls and when I would set them to be unity to the signal going through that's when there would be the drop. Then I tried boosting them just a bit and they were way, way too loud. I'll never find the perfect dual looper :(

great looping info,
I love the RC2 and 3 and have never had a ton of trouble with the dirt parts
since I never play out much I don't push my dirt a ton past unity anyway

Honestly for me my time bender and then RC3 seems to be the perfect looping combo

What exactly makes it not work for you? I use my DItto a lot with dirt and have had zero issues unless I go completely haywire with stacked dirt.
I play bass though, maybe that has something to do with it?

It just seems to loose some fidelity/turn to mush after about 5-6 overdubs for me for whatever reason. I will say it was better for me on bass, but I wasn't looping as many layers as I was with guitar

DOOM AXE>Ernieball volume> turbo tuner (always on)

>Radial bones A/B splitter>

A goes to BAT Badascan>Dunwich Doom Train>Wood Wizard 2x15 w/delta 15 b's.

> B goes to Maxon OD808> Line 6 FM4 LEFT channel>line 6 DL4 LEFT channel>Zvex instant lo-fi junky>Boss flanger BF-2>MXR phase 90 with script mod>MXR EQ>Boss TR-2 tremelo>EQD Hummingbird>Way huge Supa-Puss>EHX super EGO>EHX bassballs with a few mods>Catalinbread echorec>EHX POG 2>
ISP Decimator>IN 1 cosmichorus V4 stereo

Cosmichorus OUT 1> Front of ENGL amp
Cosmichorus OUT 2>Joyo Ultimate drive>Dunwich wizard 100 watt Wood wizard 2x12 w/weber axis 12's.

FX LOOP TO ENGL FIREBALL 100 Disaster transport SR>Strymon EL Capistan>Strymon bluesky IN LEFT>Ditto looper> ENGL amp.

So the RIGHT out from the blue sky goes to the FM4 then into the DL4 then into the cosmichorus BUT its not working so Obviously that needs to change haha, the FM4 and DL4 go to two amps but the two strymons only go to the engl right now so I need to fix that somehow....

BUt whatever, they are all on there so I had to post a pic before I smash it trouble shooting that :thumb:

Although you've done a nice explanation on the routing I reckon we still need some of your fave sounds you're getting from that setup. :P
Edit: And bloody hell that's a nice board!

Thanks guys, SO far droning a gigantic pog organ tone with the super ego is great, and the huge clean verby delay bombs with swells are the best. I can just make noises and not even have to play good stuff anymore hahah

also, if you blast the fm4 with od noise and play with the knobs you get some insane wubz and osscilation shit.
