Well, they aren't really reissues in any true sense, they are 'vintage modified' with no real attempt to capture the SF thing directly.

But...
wouldn't the "mojos" be considered
more reliable - in that they're easier to fix?

Hilarious. These amps used to go for nothing because "nothing could compare to the 60's amps."

troof. I'd rather fix ptp than pcb all day (for the most part)

i have a silver face twin i bought in 1979 (with jbl e120s)--best amp i've ever had. i've always preferred the look of the silver face to the black face.

Same here, and I always favored '68's BF circuit (90% of the time) and drip edge. I have a Super and Bassman myself. Wouldn't mind a princeton or deluxe though.

Such horse. Just thinking about how cheap every SF was 3 years ago.

I think this is makes a lot of sense.. SF Fenders are really the awesome sound of Fender amps that people have loved through the years. They made a small number of BF amps in the 60s, they made a huge massive number of SF amps in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.. SF Fenders are killer sounding amps. *ducks*
Plus they look better. *ducks again*

I think I prefer Silverface Fenders...
And nothing will ever beat the tone of a cranked SF Super Reverb for me (with a hollowbody of course).
That said, these aren't the same type as I want. Gimme the master volume model with the mid-pull and I would pick one up in no time.
