Is it silly that I suddenly like the aesthetics instead of just hoping for good sound for the bucks? The 2d Sweetwater pic wasn't nearly so flattering.skullservant wrote:From Moog's IG:

they sounded good. delay and trem were the standouts for me, the ringmod did sound good, but it cant do trem. boost seemed kind of gimmicky but it still sounded pretty good. the drive was pretty cool too.
will help you!!

It looks like the drive isn't quite the low pass filter everyone was hoping for. Looks more like the Fairfield Four Eyes with the whole expression controlled peak filter/wah thing.
I don't get the idea of the tone control on the tremolo. It says it doesn't affect the dry signal.... but a trem is like a volume effect. How can it not affect the dry signal?
Either way they get me interested with the rotary speaker comment. Wonder if they just mean in the fast tremolo effect or if there is more modulation going on there. Hmmmm...

There are a few trems that do that, all it means is it only colors the trem side of the blend control. I like the specs on it so fargreyscales wrote:It looks like the drive isn't quite the low pass filter everyone was hoping for. Okay, I see now that it uses phase cancellation for the tremolo effect. That makes a bit more sense in terms of the tone control. And it sounds interesting. Definitely curious about it now.
