nice. satisfied with the dd6 now? maybe i should have taken a black pt mini, too...

DD6 is awesome. I really love the short setting, it goes down to 1ms, and that sounds like a wicked filter. (The DD7 does the same) Apart from that it does what I wanted it to do, crisp repeats, tap tempo, everything awesome.

I love everything about this board! It's a bit like Syl's boards in that I don't own or really gas after anything specific in the boards, probably wouldn't build one like it even if I could, but you can just tell that in someone else's hands (not mine) you could make so many good sounds with it. And aesthetically...

Phantasmas, I really like that board. :!!!:

Not that similar to mine, only Randy's and DTF from those are on mine.
But I guess we have similar taste.

I'm still using this setup:

Syl, sorry if I was unclear, I meant that I get the same feeling as when I see your boards - super clean, super rad, but not necessarily something I'd make myself. I didn't mean that they actually are similar in terms of the pedals.

But I did get you to post a pic of your board - yay!!

It's always good to see Syl's toolbox. I think my board works best for slow, repetitive playing. Many of these things are on to make that interesting. Maybe that is why you would not put it together? You are more of a fast player, aren't you?

Syl, are both delays at the end of the chain? Why? And does it really sound better if you feed Randy into the dirt section? And how do you like the proteus? That might ba a possible addition still.

Here too buddy. One of these days I'll buy or build a proper board and make some nice cables. My "board" is always a hot rats nest of cables. It seems to take away from all the awesome that is on it.

Yes, It’s awesome for broken amp/speaker od/fuzz sound.
It doesn't like to stack with other pedals... but in a good way.

Those (in that order) are in the FX loop of the amp because they sound better there :
MF-104M > Cosmichorus > Superdelay
I’m using the SD mostly for reverse delay.

Randy is between the dirt section... US is pre Randy... most of the time I think it sound better before dirt.

Proteus is awesome, everything I need from a filter. It's part of my keepers.

How do you find the US to work in a band setting?
I never manage to find the right volume, partly because the coolest settings chokes the sound only to get louder as the tone dies out.... Sometimes when I run other fuzzes after it it equals out the volume differences though.

I don't have a band.
