FWIW, I had a memory man (90's reissue big box) and TWO of the pots were nonfunctional - the delay time and the chorus-vibrato knob, and for some awesome reason I had a NYC muff with the same pot styling and value and a replacement ='d full functionality.

I've heard about EHX and non-reliability and to be honest, except for the time when i kind of wore out the bypass switch on my SMMH, this is the first instance i really experienced it

now i trust people when they talk about it

...I still haven't fixed that pot. :lol: Didn't even take it apart to check the value till last week, and it's still sitting there opened up. I love the pedal though.

Another jam session with it and yeah the lack of a vol knob is piss go me off but fuck it is warm and fat!
