To be honest that describes 90% of the boutique pedal industry.
I agree.
But dude asked what we thought of the demo and that's all I got from it.

I really dont care for 80% of the boutique companies. Its true tmost put out just clones of clones. But hotone seems to be a full scale operation not in some dudes house where someone is slaving behind a hot iron. Im sure if they put half as much effort in to R and D as they do those wack videos they might have something interesting. Hate to come off as a fanboy but this is why I love seppukufx. Innovative. New. And good prices. Hes got some clones but also alot of original circuits. I like devi too even if she just slaps new names on variations of the same circuit. Even Boss is still putting out new and different shit. Id love to try athat newish delay they have.
To OP: Hotones are not interesting. They dont sound like shit but they dont sound good.
Dunno, they are a bit less than $50 in Japan, maybe it's we are close to Korea? I have to try one and see what's the infinity mode about..
Indeed, if hotone released the "wrecked-fuckedup-delay" they would get more attention than by the sole ability of cramping a delay into the smallest enclosure available.
