I'm changing the bridge on my guitar to one that doesn't have rusted screws to one that autolocking (so it doesn't fall off when changing strings), has graphite saddles, and I guess isn't supposed to rust. Anyways, so I'm taking everything off, but one of the pieces that goes into the body is stuck and won't come out. I tried prying it up with a small flathead screwdriver, and got nothing but a few scratches on the finish It looks like it may be a tad bit rusted down, anyone have any ideas? Here's a picture for reference:
take the bridge post that threaded in there to home depot and match the threads to a screw that is longer. Thread that in there and use it as a handle to pull it out
