I know, i remember that time when i had the old version of Faux Tape Echo and V1 Disaster Transport

that combo is so good it's uncalled for, ESPECIALLY for stacked, fake multi-head delays, which is the only thing i stack delays for (which I could get waymore easily out of the El Cap )

i'm kind of afraid i'm not mature enough yet for handling two delays. So far one has always pushed the other out... it's very similar with having more dirt pedals that do similar things or modulation that does similar things

Couldn't really go for the DTSr, because of the 300ms limitation on one of the delays... too short for me

Well decided to try something new, so right now, i have a V1 Malekko Lo-fi 616 incoming i'll let you guys know

I finished building up that Multiplex last night. I'll have to do a mic'd demo of it this weekend. I added the modulation daughterboard along with a 3 way toggle so you can put the mod on the first delay, the second delay, or neither delay!

Got a question about the Malekkos - from all the demos and a bit of research on the internet, i gathered the repeats are not really prominent... at first i thought that i might just try it and sell again, just to explore... but now i've got an idea... it must sound amazing pre-dirt because of that, huh?

I've got a LoFi Ekko v1 and I usually run it pre-dirt. I think that's where it sounds best.

Yeah, the repeats aren't very prominent. I prefer to think of it more as an "ambiance generator" and less of an actual delay. Not that it's completely useless as a traditional delay, but it'd definitely be far from my first choice.

So in the meantime, i tried the Ibanez AD9, not really what i need, very cool tho!

So i decided to put it up for trade and got offered this, going for it

500ms sounds doable with two chips to me and if it's gonna be at least nearly as lush as the Boss DMs, it could be very cool

the Lo-Fi is still somewhere in the mail, expecting it soon though
