Opinions on The Traynor bassmaster mark 3

I have a chance to pick up a traynor bassmaster 3 with brand new k77s in it for about 700. Anyone have any experience with these? there is very little about them on the internet about how they sound for guitar. My roommate has a mark 2 and it sounds amazing but what little i have found on the mark 3 leads me to believe it is a totally different amp. I have been without an amp for about 2 years and not in any sort of band so im not look for a super specific sound. Just something that will give me a good doom sound.
