movie soundtrack tracks you think were awesome for the flick

i had to drive a rental car today since my old mustang's back in the shop, my damn ipod's too old to talk to the hyundai's usb so i was stuck flipping through radio stations. GOOD GOD radio stations fucking blow around here. baffling...

caught a few tracks i dug though, one of which was tears for fears - head over heels. thanks to donnie darko.
also heard a skynyrd track (tuesday's gone) that made me think of forrest gump, even though it was sweet home alabama in that flick.

any other good ones you can think of?

I know it was written for the flick, but I always thought the stuff written by Mogwai and Clint Mansell for The Fountain was pretty cool. I actually like the repetition of certain themes across the songs.

Which makes me think, and this is kinda off topic . . . Mogwai made it into some Torchwood epsiodes and maybe a Misfits episode, and the Swans are definitely in a Misfits episode. The latter kind of pissed me off for some reason.

Both awesome movies! Adam Sandler was really good in PDL, I think its just a score, but the music you hear throughout the movie really makes it flow.
Life Aquatic has Bill Murray in it, no need to say anything else.
