Who Wants To Know Who Won The T-shirt Contest? RESULTS!

Updated version of my design. Just need to draw out the hands proper, then I'll sketch it up again, marker over, scan, color, fonts, done. The tree and everything look a bit wonky since I just wanted to get something up. Might get rid of cosmic swirl and extend the tree branches downward more as in the original. Swirl might be too busy.

edit: just bsed the fingernails real quick and added in some green on the tombstones
adds more continuity

edit2: put up another version with different eyes (stolen from Ryan's avatar). I think I like this one more. Not as scary! and even more continuity
edit3: top hat too? why not
edit4: added creepy green moon glow. I think this is my favorite version so far, so I'm done with these little edits...for now. In my final version I think I will make it a bit thinner. Overdoing the green a little bit now.

edit 5: last was too busy, removed some of the WIP pics, I think this is the version I'm going to redraw and make final

I think I like the color more desaturated. Some examples. I'll worry about that later though, since it can be easily changed.

Aussy - I love the zombie motif. It's seriously badass. Made me feel bad that I didn't anything skull-like in mine, so I worked up this pair, emblazoned with the crest of the Dr. Scientist Galactic Corps, dedicated to stamping out boring sounds wherever they may appear!

Ha! If you could win Project Runway with a set of sci-fi / horror / guitar effect themed t-shirts, my faith in pop culture would be fully reaffirmed! I say go for it!

Glad that you got the references... the 50's-ish design made me think of the warning at the end of every old alien invasion flick, and the ray-guns made me think of my old clunky Han Solo toy blaster when I was a kid. Man, that gun was cool.

I couldn't decide on a color, but here is the final version (for now, still would like to scan it to get better quality, but had to just take a picture since its so late). Also the text on the hand looks a bit wonky. Forgot to add some stuff to his thumb. Otherwise complete! I think I'm going to frame the original

Cleaned up the image a bit...softened some edges...cleaned up the logo...and gave Dr. Scientist's head a bit of a tilt
