most of the guitars I've owned have floating bridges

don't take all the strings off at once

what you do is start with one of the Es and then do the other, and work your way like that replacing em to the middle

I've heard that's the easiest/best way but I wanted to strip it right down to give it a thorough cleaning and polishing. The only way I could see doing that well was by taking all the strings off  Lesson learned though.

Definitely looks sexy all polished up though

I got one of those Vibramate Spoilers. The string change time is cut in half. You still have to hold the string down, but its not nearly as intensive.
Also, for floating bridges, make a mall mark in the finish at the corners of the bridge with a razor. It'll help you line it up every time!
