I'd say I love humbuckers, single coils, P90's all pretty equally. So I go the route of humbuckers and implement coil tapping. Got a Tele with P-Rails in it, God I love those pickups. Another Tele with EMG's and using the RPC and Pi2 circuits EMG makes to get more single coil and out of phase tones. I just have to have it all.

Though I do like Will Forte more, I'm digging the hell out of humbuckers right now. I got an Agile 2K, and supposedly the stock pickups suck, but I love it. All gnarly and quiet with distortion and nice/smooth/balanced when clean.

Humbuckers and p90s for me. I'm not a big fan of strat style single coils, I do like teles as long as it's not me playing them, and I've never played a jazzmaster (or anything else with those style of pickups), so I dunno whether I'd like using those or not.
