Thanks for the info. I have the Elements, and I use it mostly on low gain mode, but I find the gain sets in pretty quickly to really dial in what I'm looking for. I use the mix to bring in some clean signal and it gets pretty close to what I'm after, but, of course, It excels so much at high gain that I want to find something for more of an overdrive and free the Elements up to melt face. I have a fuck OD, too, but no mini. The Elements actually kicked the Fuck off my board entirely, though I was quite fond of it, too. I really should get a mini, but at the moment it's not really in the queue. Especially since the good Dr. just knocked it down 2 pegs with this and the skywatcher Reverberator. :joy: I'm definitely in need of a good EQ in my chain to beef up my Tele when I want it, or add some post-fuzz EQ, so this will be mine one day still.

Thanks Shannon, nice explanation!

Even when you have the Elements set as clean as possible, there's still a circuit difference in the gain stage that makes the two pedals probably sound/react a little differently.

In the Cleanness, the gain stage is limited to a gain of 10, 100k/10k, it can't do any more. In the Elements it's the same kind of gain stage, except it's set for a maximum gain of 210, 100k/475R. So the same gain range of the Cleanness exists in a very small range in the Elements, but also the stage is going to react a little differently due to those different resistances and possible gains, it might not be able to sound exactly as clean in any setting. Small difference though I think...
