Moog MiniFoogers!??!?!?!? Lookin true Ya'll

Post by Deltaphoenix »

Here is a Trademark Application done by Moog Music in Asheville

http://www.trademarkia.com/minifooger-86041483.html

I heard through the Grapevine that delay, trem, boost, drive...and a few others too will be released. Also heard next month is the release but not sure about that, But it seems like they would have begun the marketing.

Interesting, I hope it is true and the price is nice and that there is still some CV in them.

edit: check the bottom of this page out http://www.rogueguitarshop.com/category-s/182.htm

PRICES LOOK GREAT

Oh man, that would rule. Plus I think people would be more inclined to have them on their pedalboards that way as well

:omg:

this is great, I love the looks and functionality of the normal 'foogers but they're just so goddamn big and expensive.

IF this really happens, to be a massive hit with guitar/bass players I think these should:
1. Have at least one but hopefully 2 CV/Expression controlled parameters, that way a CP-251 or MP-201 could still send LFOs (or env) to multiple parameters to get some of that modular synth aspect.
2. Probably have 4 parameters per pedal
3. True-Bypass, I don't care but it is a common complaint about the regular MF
4. Be no bigger than a Verellen Big Spider
5. Nail the Moog Vibe/Sound for less than $200, meaning $199.99. Moog has to price on the high side somewhat for several reasons (really are a smallish operation, paying for the brand-name/history) but $200 does separate them from the larger MFs and doesn't cannibalize their sales too much because some people do want more features for more price.

$200 and their delay might be worth the price for a change.

 There was a guy on the moog forum that photoshopped all the moogers with the Cp-251 as what a fooger should be
