Re: marr jag
I had a white one and it was a great guitar. The neck profile was one of the best on any Jag I have owned or played. The switching configuration is quite nice though I prefer to leave the rhythm circuit stock and use a 3-way toggle and series/parallel slider switch for the switching controls.
If they end up putting the sherwood green in production though I'm picking it up.

I know nothing about it,...just knew I could suss it out with some clever sleuthing and noticing of similarities to a ME pedal I saw at GC.

Looks hot. I wonder if you can download presets people make up.
Also agreed with Johnny. That green finish is giving me GAS hard

omg if they come out with a sherwood marr jag I will be pretty bummed. However, with the finishes they used on the Oly white, mine will probably need a refin in 10 years

Re: marr jag
is yours starting to flake or chip? i've read that there are problems with white. i have a mko and no signs of trouble yet.Psyre wrote:omg if they come out with a sherwood marr jag I will be pretty bummed. i think marr had a couple of custom paint jobs done, including the green, for his current tour. don't think they will issue production models, but who knows.

Re: marr jag
I also doubt they will. I havn't had any flaking on mine (the first one Fender sent had holes that looked to have been punched into the finish) my current one has 2 spots that have started creating little tiny rough spots, and it marks up on the back pretty bad, like scuffs, and when you wipe the black off there are definite marks in the finish, but it is what it is, there isn't another guitar I would rather have. They must have done something different for the white finish, because like you I have only heard of the white having issues.
