Re: Boss pedals appreciation thread
Oh yeah, my bassist has an HM-2 which sounds SO GOOD. Seeing as HBomb posted his board, I've been interested in the PH-1r. They seem to come up on eBay for pretty cheap too.
As for the upgrade, yeah, the RC-2 is cool for jamming at home, but live I've been finding it a bit of a pain; I'll record a chord progression and jam over it for the codas of some songs, and I find that I have to press stop on the footswitch THEN get rid of the loop with the pedal itself while turning the volume knob down. If the RC-3 fixes that, I'm sold.

the RC3 does not fix that, I don't feel anyway
you really need a footswitch to get the most out of it
or and RC20/30

Loving my new RE20, sounds remarkably close to the actual tape echo I use to have (but flipped at an irresistable profit to pay for my Yamaha SG2000).

You won't regret it, the RV-3 is godly.
I've been considering getting a second but used prices are getting kinda ridiculous.

A RV-3 is one of the few Boss pedals I really want now that I have a FZ-2

Recently replaced my RV-3 with another one modded by Analogman for the high cut mod. REALLY WORTH IT!
The mod works on the delay and the delay+verb modes (no need for the verb mode because there's already a tone knob for those settings).
Awesome for huge ambient sounding stuff.

Re: Boss pedals appreciation thread
I have a question: is it normal for the RV-3 to drop the signal for a split second.
If so this pedal is almost fucking useless to me because that's annoying and boss pedals make noise in FX loops.

No, that's not normal.
