Yeah, but frankly I'm still waiting for it to land on these shores, and to test it out, before I decide what analogue monosynth to buy this year. And hey, if it turns out to be a stinker, there are at least a lot of other options...

yeah... Dark Energies are like half the size of a moogerfooger
Build quality does look a little sketchy... lots of plastic. If the sound is there though I'm still interested. If not, than a Slim Phatty might be where it's at. Or until the mini MS-20 drops I might just buy the iPad app and call it a day.

Won't lie, the wood panelling is about 1/4 of the reason why I want a Dark Energy/Dark Energy 2...
They have shipped to a lot of people. I have been offered one for trade twice and I have hear people wondering about a noise issue that seems to not be an issue.
