Find me a unique guitar...
Ok so here's the deal. I love The Kills and the tone's Jamie Hince can get. His guitar has been making me itch for a new axe, but something unique. In case you haven't seen it, he plays a Vintage Hofner Galaxie 176. I've never seen a guitar like it until he's played one and it sounds sick. Awesome trem, gold foil pickups, and a ton of knobs put this thing over the top. I need the board's help finding an original guitar that will give me some awesome raunchy garage rock tones. What do you suggest? Here's a pick for inspiration:

Hagstrom 2 looks pretty awesome! Are those single coils that look like humbuckers? I'm about done with humbuckers and I'm really leaning single coil.

Awesome! Thanks man... I'll be looking out for one of those I guess. Anyone else have more suggestions... and most importantly more PICS? Gotta keep the GAS up!

Just be aware that you will need a new bridge on some of those if you want it intonated right.

These are some nice guitars... Loving the price on that Hofner. I'm actively looking for a tele version of the 176. The seem hard to find, but they are sexy as hell. Even come with a sick tremolo!
