Hey dudes, I grew up on 80s pop, but I don't have near enough in my library to jam out to. I'm talking about the new wave stuff (I think?). The stuff with cheesey samples, synths, and very fake drums.

West End Girls was the first song that came to mind after reading the thread title. Definitely one of the coolest songs from the 80's.

That said, I agree with MeSoFuzzy...that live version of Smart Patrol/Mr DNA by Devo is one of the best things on youtube. That sounds like a good idea for another thread.

My bad! I totally thought this Devo song was done in the early 80's :facepalm: I love this 80's synth pop and a lot of it is cheesy, but not in a bad way. Its the 80's!
