Got it today and when comparing similar delays times to a older 5 knob sdd they do sound a bit different. Is it just in my head or is it a factor of the way the chip is set in the ILDD? Either way it sounds great and the feedback switch is set just how I would set it right out of the box. I also like that I can keep conventional modulation on my older guy and crazier foot switchable modulation on the ILDD.

Loverly demo Ian, thanks! The playing is really nice too, awesome sounding demo.

I did a couple small changes with the ILFDD over the production ones... the production ones have a treble boost going into the repeats section to give the repeats a little more high end clarity. The ILFDD bypasses that part as I thought the extra delay time would sound better darker, have a little less digital garbage in them while still being messed up. The modulation is tweaked too, it's deeper than the production version, gets weirder/more extreme.

I just wanted the ILFDD to have a couple little tweaks to make it special but also sound bestest with longest delay time and weirdest for my ILFBuds.

Thanks again, gents!

Thanks that demo was with my egc chessie into a modded epi valve jr. So I wasn't crazy about about the repeats sounding different. I thought the older SDD sounded a bit more tapey but still dark so I was right on the mark. I have seen a lot of delays and the SDD still beats them all out in the tone I want from a delay...sometimes tap tempo would be nice but thats why I have the cathedral. Its my reverb, reverse, flanger, freeze, and tap tempo delay in one box. Rad box Ryan :thumb:
