Ahhhhhh I need some moneys so I can give 'em to you, Laowiiiiiz. You'd be down for etching a particular image into the pedal, right?

I kinda wanted it to be a surprise... but... I'll spill the beans.
Foxx Tone Machine -> Pharaoh Style Muff
Each circuit foot-switchable, as is the octave on the TM, and hopefully diode lift on the Muff.
Plus Lao came up with the brilliant idea of having a separate tone knob for the non-octave & octave parts of the circuit.

I also had an idea of doing a master bypass, and separate in/out jacks for the circuits to have a pseudo-effects loop when I could keep a delay or something. Which would be fucking sweet, but simple is good and it will be bad-ass enough.

Lau, you should make amps too. just big ass aluminum houses with heatsinks (to cool those KT88s) and your art all over.

Gonna finish it up tomorrow fo real. I work in the film industry and it's sorta freelance and shit just started to pick up again which is good but sucks, I just wanna make peds

I am doing an etch on an aluminum pickguard for an ilfer which will be pretty fun and different.

Jacks for each circuit may be good. I'll need to think on it. For the board I etched, there is a switch that will give you silicon clippers, germanium clippers or none on a toggle. It's setup for the clipping in the 3rd transistor. That's what yer thinking of, right?

That is what I'm thinking of. Awesome. Pharaoh-esque indeeeed.
If you still wanna do the separate jacks thing I'd be cool with it.

I've been dreaming of two custom pedlols with enclosures that bear my two favorite shots from Tetsuo and Stalker! I'll PM ya when junk's more stable on my end.
Also I think quotes and stuff are broken...?

Re: Custom Shit
Man that looks great!
[quote="terminator"]look at that beauty! looks like equipment youd find at Chernobyl.

Face plates would be awesome. I've been checking out all your stuff and I love it. I've been thinking about asking you if you could do something for me for a few weeks, I wasn't sure this would be the way to go but the more I think about it, well here's the idea.
I recently acquired a Simms Watts AP 100. Its a great amp and is in amazing shape but is missing the logo, which looks like this-
[img]http://simmswatts.homeunix.net/twiki/pub/SimmsWatts/AllPurpose100/AP_100_Mk_II_p2.1.jpg[/img]
I was thinking it would be cool to reproduce the original part but I think an etched and painted plate would be so much cooler, with your take on how it should look. Let me know if this is something you'd be in to.
bbcode seems to be broken, maybe it will work in a bit but there's a link to the amp in there

I would totally be interested in something like that! Do you have the faceplate still? Was the logo glued to the plate or something? If its easy to remove, then I could definitely do something. Could go reverse etch with orange to match. Logo would be shiny aluminum to match the knobs and maybe some bordering and wetsanding with high grits to get it really shiny.
These new project ideas - pickguards, amp shells, faceplates are actually starting to appeal to me more than making pedals! I think my pedal making process has too many steps that seem to go on forever and ever. I need to simplify this shit!
