Just got back from MBV in Austin!

HOLYSHIT! Bilinda was wearing this black cowboy type shirt, I couldn't take my eyes off her <3

During New You, the bass drum sounded fucking awesome, like I could feel it pounding my rib cage.

Also, 10-15 minute Holocaust sound during You Made Me Realise.

I got pulled over speeding on the way home, told the state trooper where I just came from, he was a fan, and he let me off with a warning.

here's the setlist, seems like they stick with that line up pretty strictly.

I guess its only 4 songs off mbv. on wonder 2(i think), everyone is playing guitar while a drum track played over the PA. everyone rocking a jag or a jazz on stage was pretty cool.

The opening act was this one man shoegaze dude playing guitar along with a laptop and midi keyboard. Lots of on the spot looping, rainbow machine type sounds, and reverb. He was pretty cool.
