Thanks! I had to have it as soon as I saw it...apparently it was someone's custom order. Definitely one of my favorite finishes ever.

The Diezel mod, which essentially takes out a few caps, beefs up a few more, and swaps out the diodes. It's got a red LED and a 1N4001 diode in it now. Essentially just sounds like a naturally dimed amp instead of a distortion pedal, and removes the cocked wah sound to the mid frequency control!

Nah, can't switch back with the caps that I took out, BUT if you wanted to go back to stock clipping you could always put it on a switch

The Bukowski is a Harmonic Perc!!

I still need to try this one on bass! I have not done that yet! I actually have not played bass through this board at all, which is disappointing. TOMORROW!!

YES

Yeah, I struggled with that one but settled on The Elements for now 'cause of the versatile EQ...however, the TAFM is a fuzz I could leave on all the time and the Big Spider isn't. I kinda wanted to keep it at 5 pedals but I might have to put the TAFM before/after The Elements anyway.

My own HP is a NOS clone down to the enclosure and sliders, built by Chuck Collins.

Yes, It can be killer with bass, but does sound like there's some bottom-end rolloff as the aggression really cuts through.
It has high clarity and touch response is VERY sensitive even when gtr-vol is rolled back.
Strings scream even when slightly disturbed, and really roar when raked.

It also sounds great with drum machines & samplers; it just really wants to be first in the chain and *see* whatever the source instrument happens to be.

One of my best purchases, f'sho; it's so fun to play.
Guaranteed to light up your face the first time you feel a taste of its power. :animal:

Top-mounted Minis are official and currently in production...and skully sure aint helping me resist buying one.
But my current lack of gear budget and other pressing expenses seem to be doing just fine in that regard
